THE DOOR TO MY IMAGINTION

Like 9 Pin it 2I STAND HEREÂ Â
AT HE DOORÂ
TO MY IMAGINTION
I SEE LIGHT BY THE
FLOOR UNDER THE DOOR
I HEAR SOFT MUSIC AND
VOICE THAT SAY COME IN
BUT THE DOOR IS LOCKÂ
AND THEN I WAS SHOCKED
THE DOOR OPENED AND
BLACK FIGURE STANDÂ
THERE HE GRAB MY ARM
IN WE GO DOWN AND DOWN
IN TO MY IMAGINTON THERE
WE PASS DEMONS SO UGLY
THEY TRY TO GRAB ME
I PULL AWAY WE WENTÂ
PAST DEAD TREES BLACK
FLOWERS THE MUSICÂ
GETS LOUDER AND HEART
BEATS FASTER AND FASTER
AND AT LAST HE STOP ANDÂ
POINTS TO MY RIGHT THERES
RED GLOWING LIGHT AND RED
FIGURE I PULLED AWAY ANDÂ
RAN BACK TO THE DOORÂ
MY HEART BEATING FASTER
AND SMELL WAS NOTHERÂ
I SMELLED I THOUGHT IÂ
WAS IN HELL JUST BEFOR
THE DOOR HE GRABS ME
AGIN AND DOWN WE GOÂ
AND THEN HE STOPSÂ
AND POINTS TO MY LEFT
I SEE WHITE GROWING LIGHTÂ
AND WHITE FIGURE THEN!!!
I PULLED AWAY AND RANÂ
BACK TO THE DOORÂ
I CLOSED THE DOORÂ
AND LOCKED ITÂ
AND RAN TO MY SAFE

Greg, you tapped into something here. The power the imagination can have. It can be torture and it can help us escape from torture also. Itâs a bit like a wild animal at times. You gotta learn how to tame it. Thanks for writing this, it made me reflect which I always enjoy đÂ
thank you so muchÂ

There are many doors you can go through. Some need no key, but open naturally. The imagination takes us further to realms of fantasy as well as The Dark abodes, where life is veiled in shadow and mystery. In your own way you find your own path, going where you want to.....and, sometimes where you do not. The lines are blurred at times to provide the interest of the doorway, and beyond. Life, and deathly shadows, providing all we need to learn, and find a journey fulfilling, of the soul and mind.
Neat write. :)
Thank you Richard love what you saidÂ

Imagination knows no bounds! There is sunshine and pixies, dark gloomy corners where monsters lurk and everything in between in our imagination. A fabulous place to visit although, as your poem says, sometimes we need to be careful. Fabulous poem Greg âx
