The Dream Catcher

Circling my bed I can see this figure hidden in the darkness
through the bed frame 
as if it was all the same 
All, except the eyes
key lime lined with black treads 
glowing in its natural element

Darkness, it lingers 
rising and dipping as if doing the Chinese dragon dance 
anxiously awaiting me to fall into slumber
to snatch up all my dreams
the dream catcher
