THE DREAM DIARY

Kept on her table by the side of her bed
With a most expensive pen it has to be said
Glittered in gold and was about A4 in size
If you read inside you would have a surpriseĀ

The dream diary the name of this private book
Nobody was allowed to read or take a look
What were the contents only this young girl knew
Things no doubt about what she would love to do

She wrote in this diary everyday for a year
All about stuff what she hoped would appear
When at last the final entry was actually made
This young girl got on her knees and prayed

Several decades later I found this diary by chance
The young girl left it behind and moved to FranceĀ
I won't say what I happened as I read insideĀ
For I closed it quickly as I cried and cried
