The Elephant In The Room

The elephant in the room is huge. Yet many
Do not see it. Indeed, they do not even hear
It, when it snorts and trumpets, ever so loudly.
Because of constant propaganda, things so near
Seem far away, to the less discerning among
Us. How can this situation be rectified,
When malignant false consciousness, breeds like maggots,
Daily?! Power weaves a vast tapestry of lies.
