The enticing mountainside

Sometimes I feel like I'm running up a mountainside 
Dancing in the daisies with the wind in my hair and the sun on my face
Beautiful scenery everywhere around me 
Then suddenly it changes
It's winter and everything is cold
An avanlanche creeps up behind me as I'm running
Instead of running in the light I'm being chased by the dark
Then I tumble
Down back to the bottom of the mountain
It's cold, and feels as though it's not worth climbing back up
As if the sites were not worth the struggle
Then I stand up
Cold as ever with no sun in my face, no view of the daisies, and no reason to start the trek all over again
But I do 
I slowly get up to my knees
then my feet
One foot in front of the other I make my way back
Realizing that I will never get back to the beautiful valley without the heavy climb 
As the dig to get back up, and the fall to the bottom is what makes the beautiful valley as enticing as it is
