THE ENTREPENEURS

It was a disgrace that a winner should be fired,
you would think that something must be decent once you're hired,
the industrial tribunal was weary of these claims,
that was the trouble once you start playing stupid games.

All's fair and unfair in love from my mentor,
however, your compassionless demeanour is poor;
only I can record your behaviour in front of your saviour,
the miserable hypocrisy which decency doesn't savour.

There used to be someone whom we called 'JR,'
but even he managed a smile before removing the star;
they were all in line waiting to administer recompense,
someone told you that contrition didn't make sense.

Someone told you that it didn't matter to screw up people's lives,
but it will be recorded forever in Yahweh's archives.
