The feather in the wind

The feather in the wind

I saw the feather in wind,
The sun was shining the birds
Were singing as it blew around
landed on the ground and I
went looking for it and found
It was white oh what site

I saw the feather in the wind
And when it landed, I picked
It you up and put it on my
Shelf and kept it close
To myself close to my heart

I saw the feather in the wind
It must have been a sign from
heaven it was eleven when I
Saw it I saw the feather in the wind.

Greg I wish I could give your good self ten stars here for the happiness in your writing shines and shines brightly.
A floating feather that speaks volumes in its simplicity and those volumes spoken are all good and contented.
Thanks Greg for a much needed change of pace and well being after reading your poem.
Have a great Christmas and what it can bestow for yourself and those around you who need solace and a change of pace.👍

Greg maybe not your favourite but like you say at least you got it out.
That's a well deserved sense of merit and achievement in it's own right.
And Christmas Greetings to you also and thanks for those hugs and will warmly pass them on my friend. 👍

White feathers can mean different things to different people .. I like the one that suggests a friendly departed spirit has visited, or is looking down on you from above .. this poem of yours really has the feelgood factor .. Neville

Thank you Neville
I always believed,
that theory about white feathers
meaning that a sign that somebody’s watching out for you I’d like to believe that
my mom and dad are you you have a good day
