The First “Zip Line”

.
In the Summer of nineteen sixty, when I was just fifteen;
I went to a July Fourth pool party, with lots of girls I’d never seen!
There was one that really caught my eye, real cute with long brown hair;
I liked what I was seeing, so I sidestroked over there!
.
I went by and gently splashed her, she smiled and got me back;
When I saw that she really liked me, I moved in for my shark attack!
We talked and we tread some water, a little synchronized swimming too;
Then we got out and went to get changed, for fireworks and a barbeque!
.
For some reason during that Summer, my pals and I thought it was cool;
To refrain from wearing underwear, and feel the freedom of our “tool”!
I raced down into the boy’s room, and threw my pants on very fast;
But when I quickly pulled up the zipper, I felt pain that would ever last!
.
I’m sure you know what happened, I caught a piece of my skin in there;
It hurt so much I started crying, sometimes life just is not fair!
After freeing myself I ran to join her, she said, not to my surprise;
“You look like you’ve been crying”, I replied “It’s just the chlorine in my eyes”!

Dear Tony,
I just wanted to give people the real "skinny" on an actual happening in my life. I got zapped by a zipper, and to this day can remember the pain. Needless to say, that was the last time I ever went "commando". Glad it made you laugh, because it made me cry!
Peace, Love and Rockets,

Taking inspiration from the picture..."sometimes the thing that brings us together pulls us apart. Sorta like a zipper." Something About Mary. Hilarious Larry
My Dear Friend Lost,
I love your line "sometimes the thing that brings us together pull us apart". A zipper, is like sex and life, they both have their ups and downs. Thank you for your hilarious insights.
Peace and Love,
