The Fisherman

There once was an old man that live by the lake. And down by the water his fishing pole he would always take. Only one spot he'd only go, only one spot his line he would throw. Well,he reeled in a big one with nearly every cast of his line. And to each fish he caught he'd say "tonight together we shall dine". Well,it happened this way for about 20 years or so,but at his spot one day the old man did not show. The people around the lake began to wonder what happened to that old guy with a pole, so a search party they started,,through the woods they looked high and low. The people began to lose hope after about a week. For no one could find the old guy as much as for him they did seek. But now it's been rumored by many people near and far away, that at a certain time in the evening from the lake a voice they hear say,"old man now that you've come to my house this time, throw away your pole you don't need it cuz tonight you're mine to dine".
