They say that if you wish for somthing,
And you really try your best,
It never comes to nothing,
Not that, I can contest...
I met my luck on a faithful day
In a foreign land, in a surprising way,
Mentality I flagged this hidden interest in you found in me,
Not that I yet knew what it would mean to me.
You should know, I have been broken before,
My trust strung high, burnt out bridges
Not that I would worry about that,
Not anymore.
From the second I passed you that note.
My heart skipped a beat.
I had taken the leap,
And no. That night, I couldn't sleep.
But for the Fish, that story came true.
You love me and I love you.
Months gone by like clouds in the sky.
This Fish has lifted to their greatest high.
Looking back on it now, how far we have come,
We have never been so close.
That's it I'm done.

This poem is truly beautiful. Â Love that with your brokenness you were able to over come that and no longer let it take a toll on your life. This person was your missing piece to life and allowed all the darkness to disappear. Â I hope to meet someone some day in the luckiest of way that you were able to.
