Poem -
The Fragile Mind
As the light subdues
Fading out those vibrant hues
Which once enriched all that walked within its rays
Now gaze -
Betrayed - feeling enslaved to the shadows that creep
That seek to keep you from your sleep
Bewitched
The fragile mind Slips -
Trips on gruesome finds
Binding the soul to a lifeless - Stagnant slurry
Of fallen dreams -
And wretched fiends
Content to feed off worry
