The frantic farmyard 🤣

The frantic farmyard 🤣

The cat saw the mouse and away he sped, hiding betwixt hay bales in the Farmers shed

This tabby tom was such a scaredy cat, he hated mice and that was that!!!

Now the mouse was mischievous and wanted to play, so she followed the cat into those tunnels of hay

Where  “Meowing” and “Hissing” could be heard from that scaredy cat, though the minute mouse never said a single word

Not a hint of a squeak came from that mouse, as Farmer Brown’s wife hurried out of her farmhouse

And as she ran into the barn full of bales of hay, the mischievous mouse scurried away

But by now the commotion from Mrs Browns cat, had scarpered the chickens  from their habitat

Where the cows with their calves and the flock of sheep had herded themselves together, all in a heap

When the pigs with their snouts all covered in mud, had ran into the pond that was left from a flood

As Nelly the horse and Billy goat gruff ran away from the farmyard, for good in the a huff

And the ducks kept “Quacking!!” it was bedlam on that farm, they had all got a fright from the frantic cat’s alarm

Whilst Mrs Brown the Farmers wife had hurried out of the kitchen, still holding a knife

Yet she never found out so she never understood why, what on earth had worried her cat and made it cry?…
