THE GNU ON BOARD A CANOE

You will never believe what I saw the other day
Believe me it's true and definitely not hearsay 
Must have escaped the zoo was an enormous gnu
Not only that he was on board a two man canoe 

Now a gnu in a canoe is a most unusual sight 
Almost like seeing a lion that doesn't bite 
This gnu had all the characteristics for sure
Just in case you've thinking I'm premature 

The bushy beard and curved horns on his head
An unusual sight it has to be notified and said 
How it got there I really cannot venture a guess
That's when I noticed he was wearing a dress
