"The Good News of You!"

"My addict sisters and brothers,
we at different times,
in our lives,
shared The Left Path,
that had no amount of reason,
no sense in its unequal math,
and thank You Lord,
from the outside looking in,
in recovery,
I have the empowered strength to see,
what the drugs,
destined me to be.

My life was a gift,
I played as a sick game,
that by losing sight of Jesus,
bound me for the flames,
but not anymore,
the ship of my soul,
has left that desolate shore,
for all glory be given to God,
has made my ship a new sail,
and the underneath of my boat,
Jesus let it be plated,
with Heaven's Mail,
wrapped tightly and mightily,
in God's untarnished armor,
so The Good News of You,
be given to everyone,
from the soldiers to the farmers,
because everyone has the right to see,
what with Jesus,
they can truly be!"
