The great debate

What's lost, compared to what's gained. 

What's never going to be the same..  .. remembrance. 

Comparison of it all , will it give me peace, or just a moment to remind or remember. 
Oh the great debate between the old and new. 
Between the emotional and the astute. 
No winners in this debate, all over the what was allowed. 

What one put up with, had no control over, what made it tick. 
Does remembering end the suffering, or is it a constant reminder of the person who is missing. 

Although we are never really gone. Just can't communicate with the living realm. 

Look about at what has gone, possibly of a new life, possible new love, positively shure I didn't sign up for this. 

Thrown in at the deep end. 

Debating my existence, all these passers by. 

Undesirable is that the old choices, did it really amount to today. 

Debate my past experiences, debate what I should have done. 

Debate what you thought about me. 

Debating how much I have decided, compared to what's preordained. 

Have I done my duties correctly, up to my own standards. 

Am I at ease enough to open gates.
Contemplate only the happiest moments of pure happy even if the sight of them makes me sick or sorry now, or angry at there attention  or attitude. 

Is it really about gratitude or grace or a bitter fight to finish this race. 
What to remember what to forget what does the brain throw away and why keep the sad.
Is it to learn from experience but not let that effect your future.
Easy said not done. 
Shouldn't have been a problem for someone like you or someone else.

Capable they throw what you should be able to handle or so much they cause a flip out. 

Debate the so called unfair. 

Depress wide open. 

Look back to look forward, that I heard. 
I think you can debate the inevitable all you like .
