The great flood (story)

The great flood (story)

Shadows,

Shadows,

Man hew knew,

When we would,

Find hope,

In the store we stayed,

For days at end,

The storm brewed,

And thunder roared,

The flood grew,

And men starved,

My wife died,

And my children grew sick,

I had to escape,

This imprisened cell,

This storm was strong,

But my hope grew,

I stormed high,

Up the stairs I ran,

With my children behind,

Guess there was no more life,

As the tsunami grew,

I climbed ever so high,

To the roof I stood,

Staring at,

The blood shatter,

Bodies floated,

And disease spread,

Fear inbeded in my children's eyes,

Wish I could remove what they had seen,

For days we stayed,

Hunger arrived,

I had no choice but to feed my kids,

I began with our shoes,

And grew into shirts and cloth's,

When will we be saved,

We are lost at sea,

In a tsunami you see,

No one to be seen,

We're alone,

Forever,

In this great flood,

God forgive our sins,

For we are about to go to sea,

And swim for help,

For land,

Food,

Anything,

We jump effortlessly in the salty water,

Stroking with everything we had,

Freezing cold and fridged tempitures rose,

Hoping for a better start we grow strong,

And stayed close,

Speak of water,

We wished we had drinking liquid.

Forever it seemed,

We swam,

We came across,

What apeared to be land,

Just to appear to be lifeless bodies floating,

Frightening,

And depressing,

We found a roof to stay for the night,

We piled on eachother for warmth,

I knew we had little to no chance to survive,

But we had to strive,

This was a test by God,

And if we survived,

We would tell our story,

And spread the word,

Into sleep we went,

Rain it did,

Until a light arose,

I strained up right,

Swaying my arms about!

Trying to signal them,

They were heading this way,

Laughs come from afar,

Tears fell from my eyes,

And hope grew inside,

Was this our savior or our fate..

They grew close now visible,

To see,

Guns were loaded and blood was showing,

Big bearded men,

Captained the ship,

Lights grew brighter,

And the sale grew visible,

It was a symbol almost unforgettable,

The pirate stories were coming true,

They laughed in anguish,

I knew they meant bad,

Cannibalist they were,

How else would they of survived?

We had to hide,

For our lives,

What else could go bad,

In this terrible storm,

I heard the gun grow load,

And I felt the sharp pain grow,

I was shot in my thy,

I grabbed the kids,

And hid away,

Until the next time,

I get to rhyme,

In my journal I kept....
