The Greatest Movie Ever-The Hustler
The greatest movie ever made, to me, “The Hustler” has no peer;
It’s about a pool shark named Eddie Felsen, who plays recklessly, without fear!
He has come to New York City, to challenge the greatest of them all;
A man they call Minnesota Fats, fifteen years, without a fall!
.
Paul Newman plays the Hustler, Jackie Gleason is the Champ;
George C. Scott heads the pool mob, all big games, need his approval stamp!
Piper Laurie plays a sad girl, who has a leg that’s handicapped;
She and Eddie meet and fall in love, their hearts both very rapt!
.
The plot has many surprises, it keeps you riveted to your seat;
There are good times, and some bad ones, it’s a cinema so complete!
So have a box of tissues, very close to you at hand;
Just make sure you see this movie, and then you’ll understand!
.
I don’t want to give the end away, with it’s amazing ups and downs;
The acting is the finest, to ever come out of “Tinsel Town”!
All four actors were honored, with Oscar nominations for their roles;
The greatest movie ever, according to this author’s polls!
.
.
A must-see movie
The greatest one ever made

Great piece of work on a great film...
Ps I am 51 years old Mr Ran and I think my life is complete....just seen the movie Peyton Place for the first time my life tonight ...WOW what a trailblazer!
Dear Kieran,
I totally agree with you, I am 74 years old, and read the book almost sixty years ago. Then I also saw the movie, and when it became a series on TV, I was a most avid fan. I had the hots for Mia Farrow (until she cut her hair short in a jealous rage over her fiance, Frank Sinatra's infidelity with Ava Gardner).
Thanks for your great comment.
Love,
Larry xxx
