THE GRENFELL TOWER FIRE (A TRAGEDY)

THE GRENFELL TOWER FIRE (A TRAGEDY)

Great Britain is not great,

in fact its falling apart

the powers that be,our government

has no beating heart.

Our prime minister is known for her coldness,

arrogance she portrays

she`s continued to bleat on about austerity,

and for that, the poor has payed

This week a tower block in London,

in no time went up in flames.

There are many dead and injured,

that fire.could no way, be contained

Blame is being laid on cheap building materials,

cutting corners to save a penny.

fire regulations preposterous,these bad choice,s

have caused the deaths, of many.

Now the people who escaped are left homeless, bereft,

and they have nothing to their name

They have lost their sons, daughters, parents,

those powers that be,should hold their heads in shame.

To watch people screaming at windows,

mothers throwing their babies from way up high

Seeing these sights were horrific,

with head in hands, all I could do, was cry

But thank God for human kindness,

people have come together, helping with food and aide

No matter what religion, no matter what creed or color

unity and love are being displayed

It is the basis of human nature to try to comfort,to help,

to ease the burdon, of other peoples pain

Nevermind our diabolic government, or our cold hearted prime minster

Karma I think, will be theirs someday....

To the survivors of Grenfell Tower Kensington London

My heart goes out to you, I hope you get all that, you need

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved ones cruelly taken.

                      May They Rest in Peace.

Hi Tony Thank you for these lovely comments

These tragic events  affect me so much

I need to write how I feel and show how much I care

I  wrote about our prime minister because she has nt showed

empathy to the survivors of this fire, she never went and met them

even our queen visited.

she spoke to the survivors and to the many people who are

helping ease their needs

Thank you Again my friend

Love n hugs Debs xo

Hi Deb,  It's a big question if Great Britain would be great again #the arrogance, corruption, and the laxity of those in power ##Justice to the victims ## I feel sorry for them ## May their souls rest in peace, and I pray that those who survived be given all the help they need and deserve.

hugs and kisses
Happy Father's day
