The Ground You Walked Upon

Our precious Angel Nico, exactly sixteen years ago;
We were on a real long road trip, to help our coffers grow!
Our first stop was Cincinnati, two clients did we see;
Today, we’re going back there, to the place you once did be!

We’ll walk the same floor you did, at our friends Gallery of Art;
It will bring back joyous memories, and happiness to our hearts!
It will also bring some teardrops, for you’re no longer by our sides;
Not quite fourteen when you left us, longevity denied!

But for a while, we’ll be reliving, the bliss we shared that day;
As you ran around their business, our dear puppy fast at play!
Oh, to escape the saddened future, and return to the joyous past;
To freeze us there forever, eternally to last!
