The Guitarist

The Guitarist

I'll sing you a song, sing along, twang twang,
maybe I'll save you, win you, tring, tring tring;
'You don't have to say you love me, just be close at
hand, you don't have to stay forever, I will understand.'

I'll strike a chord, hold you in the key of C,
perhaps that's not where you'd prefer to be,
play you a riff, what more would you wish, maybe if
'You're left alone with just a memory,' magically.

I'll back you from the front, 'Believe me, believe me,
you know that I'll never let you down,' there you see
me now, now you don't, let me lead you, let me need you,
you want the blues,I'm talkin,' what you wanna do?

I gave you a medley, now lower you down gently,
perhaps it was best, just lovin' you so pretty.
