THE GUNSLINGERS

THE GUNSLINGERS

He wore cowboy boots and a stetson hat
He rode into a town on a horse both ugly and fat
He then went to the bar and ordered a beer
The locals looked at him with trepidation and fear

The cowboy answered to the name of Jim
He spoke with a southern drawl and his body was slim
"We don't want any trouble here" the barman said
At that precise moment in walked Fred

Jim and Fred looked at each other up and down
One would end up the best gunslinger in this town
In a flash the contest was done
Jim was the quickest to draw his gun

For Jim proved to this town he was the best
For Fred it was a gravestone and would be laid to rest
