The Hardest Part.

The hardest part is sometimes you can experience the best times of your life,
whilst experiencing the hardest challenges.
Only I know the painful journey I have been navigating,
to get myself to a place where I have balance,
be happy and content.
Physically and mentally whole,
in the presence of this black hole.
The hardest part is dealing with new challenges that unfold,
that is not in my control.
I'm forever vibrant, positive and optimistic,
even more so when the summer sun ignites a fire to the dark part's of my soul.
With excited energy I become the energiser bunny,
with a chesire cat smile,
I can feel and absorb the magic around me.
My morning glory which is another's ordinary.
I look in the mirror and love everything about me.
The hardest part is finding those who connect and resonate with the soul I possess inside.
The more in tune with self I get,
the more I withdraw from the  energies that wish to control the free spirited person who is enough just as I am.
Knowing I'm a safe space and home to those who are genuine at the core,
who aren't afraid to be vulnerable, transparent and bold.
As I mourn the loss of the physical energy and the effects on my body,
due to the last remaing functioning of my one diseased  kidney.
The hardest part is people seeing past my medical difficulties,
To get to know, appreciate the person I am. Who is much more than my Lupus and stage 4 kidney disease.
The passionate, vibrant, creative and divine being,
who will always strive to do my best and have so much love to give.
