THE HARDEST PART OF LOVING

THE HARDEST PART OF LOVING

To My Dog Ali With Love,

I know you're old my girl...

If I blessed you half as much as you blessed me then I know in your heart we had it made...

I understand the meaning of paw prints on the heart because, you have them all over mine...

I made you a promise when you were a puppy and fifteen years later you still have that same promise...

As much as I would love more years with you...

I won't let you suffer...

The hardest part of loving is letting go...

You don't ever need to think I can replace you...

It's only fair to let someone else have what we had...

There's no guarantee how long I will be here without you...

It really doesn't matter for a day will feel like a year...

I don't know why dogs have seven years to our one...

I know how one will feel like seven...

I'm not good at goodbyes and I don't know how many more I can take before my heart completely breaks...

The way I feel, I'm good if I never have to feel it again...

I know we have a little time and we're going to make the best of it until, you just can't anymore...

You're it for me my girl...

One day you'll be like a brand new pup and forever you will be embedded in my heart...

With love,

Mom

Hugs...

Hello Tina...

I thanked Him for such a wonderful gift and blessing...

She has some problems that comes with old age...

Her breed average lifespan is 15-18 years...

She turns 15 next month...

She has definitely been a blessing...

She loves life and she never had a problem with being spoiled...

I'm not good with heartbreak and sadness...

It was a good run and I am going to enjoy the time I have left with her...

I will make it very clear to people who ask me if I want another one...

Thank you but, no I don't want to go through this hurt again...

Besides, if something happens to me it wouldn't be fair to the Dog...

I have seen the effects when the owners die and they're left behind...

That's very heartbreaking too...

I'm only sparing heartache on both sides...

People have babies at 60 years old and I had parents who were older when they had me...

They never thought for a second about what kind of life their baby would have...

They did their best but, they would have been of fine without it...

I wouldn't want to do that to a Dog either...

Thank you for your sweet comment and support my friend!

Hugs...

Hello Sis Cherie...

I saved her life when she was 3 days old...

She came home with me when she was 6 weeks old...

She got a virus and had to put in the Hospital once when she was 2 years old...

Now, she's turning 15 years old next month...

That went by so fast...

If time could slow down a little I wouldn't complain...

I can't believe my Granddaughter is turning 8 years old already...

Feels like just a couple of years ago I was teaching her how to walk...

Thank you for your kind comment and support my friend!

hey FEATHERS!!..... my best friend, when I was in eighth grade, lost his dog Becky...... he didn't come back to school for two weeks..... when I went by his house his parents would tell me that he wouldn't stop crying and to come back soon...... finally when he came one day to my house... he told me that he lost a part of his family..... after that, I began to understand something that would remain with me to this day...... Man's best friend is not a cliché expression...... it is an emotional truth!!......thanx for sharing this my friend!!...... much love to you and yours!!....T xo ??✴❀❀❀❀❀❀

Hello Tony...

I understand people want to fill that void but, no other will have her personality so it could never be filled for me...

Just another void...

You can have six kids all different in their own way, if you lose one no one can fill that void...

Thank you for your sweet comment and support my friend!
