In camera lights
words are spoken
to a nation

suggesting unity

telling us to 
focus what is before us
rather than what divides us

the hill we climb

Beautiful  and

are ours to own

bipartisan 
approach

No labeling
Belittling

demonizing 

We cannot
Claim
To love

Neighbor
Whether

Be red
Yellow
black
Or
white
While
At the 
Same time
Enslaving 
The right
Of being
An
Unique
Personage 

Riots 
Did not
Spark at 
The capital 
Because
Words were
Heard

Violence erupted
Because
Voices
Were silenced 

Libertarianism 
Is not extremism

Ironically 
It is the 
Extinguisher 
to big party
Control
And is only
a threat 
to those
who only
Seek
to eradicate
the character 
To individualism
