The infinite ocean

You fall in the ocean, unsure who’s to fault.

You're stranded in the middle, frantically looking for land.

A feeling of hopelessness sets in, what now?
You lie on your back, floating for a while.

The waves taking you deeper in.

Something inside you tells you, “open your eyes”

So you do

You spot something.. Could it be land?
Pondering over if it's worth fighting for, because what the point?
You felt a nudge, it was a little fish..

It nudges you again, you decide to follow.

It wraps its fins around your finger and smiles.

The fish, my only friend.

You see land, and even closer, a deck.

You rush over, quick to grab ahold of it.

You pull yourself up, land is so close..

The fish, helps you up.

Then stops

You're halfway there, but you pause.

The fish swm away…

It's gone now

Your hands slip off the deck.

The feeling pulls you down again, tying its chains around you, pulling you back into the ocean.

You're stranded once more
