The Innocent Garden

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Suffering is innocent,
And so are you;
Ā
Orchids are white,
Ghost ones are rare,
Mirrors are shiny,
And so is your hair;
Ā
Magnolia grows,
With buds like eggs,
The figure statuesque,
And so are your legs;
Ā
Sunflowers reach,
Up to the skies,
Your island is lonely,
And so are your eyes;
Ā
Foxgloves in hedges,
Surrounding the farms,
Environmentally fragile,
Just like your arms;
Ā
Daisies are pretty,
Daffies have style,
These fellows so young,
And so is your smile;

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I’ll take what I want,
The bloods of you.
Ā
