Sleeping Beauty

Nothingās as quiet as the room where she lays,
They say āshock, horrorā but to me itās no surprise,
I stand over her for what feels like days,
And watch sleeping beauty rest her sweet eyes,
Eyeing the cross on her wrist where blades dug deep,
I remember when it all first started,
She was low, tired and lacking in sleep,
Its hard to believe weāve already parted,
But where is she now? Finally moving on?
She always was one step ahead of me,
But with all her speed now sheās gone,
Left me alone, depressed but she canāt see,
Iām so lost without her, I need her in my life,
So I go home; cry; pick up my own knife.
