I fell
Tripped over unforeseen circumstances
Tumbled over unplanned machinations of destiny
And landed on self pity ghosts and an awareness of my own ability to overcome the most outrageous boredom and bouts of dramatic melancholy

Day drinking
Bruised self esteem
Misfortunes sorrow
And calloused ego against the most outrageous accusations
But you didn’t know
I was pushed
