Poem -

The invisible hurt.

The invisible hurt.

The morning sun greets a different day
Birds sing their chorus as their daily chore,
The damp chilled night air, still playfully lingers
Home too run the foxes, hungry til they find more,
Life lives on all around me, I'm a dreamer
The world's journey has cast the many aside,
The world's scars remind us, we don't learn anymore
Yet we're proud of progress, true destruction we hide,
I see no world that I ever dreamt of
I see man determined to move on, though we slowly kill,
After we've killed earth we will move & continue
For no faith that I see in peace & harmony.. still.
