THE JOURNEY

I see you struggling on your journey
On an arduous uphill road
Carrying heavy burdens
That life has bestowed
Each step a little harder
Then the one you took before
I hear you say; I can't go on
I can't do this anymore
I know it's not been easy
To get where you must go
Though the way is difficult
I just wanted you to know;
Look how far you've come
I know that you can make it
Stop and take a needed rest
But don't give up and quit
There'll be people on your journey
Someone to give a helping hand
And when you think you can't go on
There'll be someone to understand
