The kid came back
The very next day
We knew he'd resurrected
We knew just what to say
He must be JesusĀ
He must be Christ
He must be the Saviour
Of the day and the night
The kid came back
Without a lot of fuss
We knew he'd resurrected
We knew he had a crush
A crush on God
A crush on our Lord
A crush on our Saviour
And he never got bored
The kid came back
Without much mention
We knew he'd resurrected
We knew he payed attention
Attention to life
Attention to death
Attention to what happens
When your running out of breath
The kid came back...
