Poem -
the kiss
Lips meet softly a tender kiss
a moment of pure unspoken bliss
two souls united come what may
in that kiss the worlds fade away.
A spark ignites a fire so sweet
in that kiss their hearts do beat
a promise made in silence shared
in that kiss their love declared.
Whispers of love in twilight’s embrace
in that kiss they find their place
a dance of shadows a moonlit trance
in that kiss a timeless romance.
Stars align in the velvet night
in that kiss their spirits take flight
a symphony of dreams a tender sigh
in that kiss they reach the sky.
