THE LAST DANCE

The effervescence of her persona shone through
as she danced, the night away
Dressed immaculate she was drunk on love
as her hips gave a gentle sway
He stared at his woman proud she was
his. as the crowd cheered for more
Women stared at her with some envy
as she danced around the floor
He went over to her held her close
the last dance, a slow song started playing
she grabbed hold of him real tightly
knowing in his arms she`d be staying
he caressed her neck and nibbled her ear
with the greatest effect
Her heart was beating faster and faster
of that he could detect
She kissed him back and then started
humming to the tune
She pulled him closer as they danced
and she began to swoon
She whispered to him come on my love
lets leave now its time to go
For ill be marrying you tomorrow and forever
together, we`ll do this dance real slow
