The Last Rites

The Last Rites

When my poor wife was dying the hospital staff and I agreed between us not to let her know, allowing me for the last three days and nights to stay and care for her, but whilst getting a drink for her I saw a female priest approaching her bed preparing to read her last rites, I dragged her to one side telling understand she doesn't know Oh she replied, In that case, I'll say a prayer for her when I return to the chapel
my reply do as you wish but I'm telling you now Helen will get to where she going For I can assure you if she doesn't you'll be the first to know" Say No More"
