The Lies that You Tell Yourself

I can only imagine what lies
that you tell yourself just so you
can sleep at night.

"I'm perfect in every way".

Is the first lie you like to tell
yourself, but I am here to tell you 
that no one is perfect all of the
time and guess what people 
make mistakes.. 

"I wear expensive clothes, so I 
have money".

This lie is told by a lot of people.
What you are telling is I want to 
keep up with the Joneses.

"I speak with a little intelligence, 
so therefore I am intelligent ".

True intelligence doesn't 
define as a person your 
character does that. 

"Acting professional equals to 
I'm professional".

Professionalism is all about 
how you carry yourself. 
You can't go from 
businessman to thug
just like that.

With all these lies you 
tell yourself you aren't 
fooling anyone but yourself.
