The Little Lephrecaun

On the beautiful, Emerald Isle
Across the Irish sea
Lives a million, trillion Leprechauns as cheeky as can be
These little fellows dress top to toe in green
They sprinkle invisible magic, fairy dustÂ
So are very seldom seen
They live in a land of milk & honey
Where the Irish lasses are so fair
With sun-kissed tiny freckles & auburn, golden hair
These tiny bearded lephrecauns roam Ireland mending leather, buckled shoes
They are full of the divilish mischief & they never, ever have the blues
If you find a lephrecaun
So the Irish tales are told
He will grant you three wishes
Then gift you a pot of gold
They say that at the end of every rainbow
There lies a pot of gold
There lived the myths
& legends of the lephrecauns of old
