The Little Poet

The Little Poet

Β
Stay a Β while longer
Β friend
Β  radiant is the sun
Β  taste the figs
Β Β fallen on the groundΒ
ripe for your fingers
please tickle me with words;
A little poet,
Β you are to me;Β
Rest your feet in my hands Β
Sip a glass of Chianti
a belly is forΒ wine;
Β  befits nobilityΒ Β
so let the body profitΒ
