All the little things we do
That truly mean the very most
When they show up out of the blue
A little touch of compassion
A little wink, a smile
Going the distance, out of your way
Going the extra mile
It's those small little gestures
Like opening and holding a door
It's just the little bitty things
You never thought of doing before
The little things we choose to do
To make the world a better place
To ease and lighten burdens
And leave a smile on someone's face
If we gathered all the little things
Never thinking they were much
We'd see that the world was held together
