THE LOAN...... a parable on lending money by Jude kyrie

THE LOAN...... a parable on lending money by Jude kyrie

The two men had been friends forever.
then one of them asked to borrow $1000
Just until payday in two weeks he said.

the money was given without question.
After a month the loan was still not paid
justĀ  until next payday I got a bill he said.
i got some bills.

after six months
the loan was still outstanding.
his friend said I can't pay you back
but you can have my dog instead.

they went to his home
and he brought out the dog.
it was a mangy mutt
with no teeth a foot long
tongue. Hung from its slobbering chops.
it was almost bald had one eye
and proceeded to do its business
on the living room rug.

He said to his friendĀ
one more month
that's all you understand.

a month laterĀ
his friend said I can't pay you
but you can have my wife.
back at the house he brought
in the lady on offer.

his friend slowly inspected her.
walking around her
as he strokedĀ  his chin .
after a little while he said.
would it be alright if I took
another look at. That dog.

Hi Jude,

A man asked borrow a thousand bucks
His friend gave it instantly
"I'll pay you back in no time"
But that was not to be

.
Six months later, he said "take my doggie"
But it was old, and incontinent
He declined, then was offered the man's old haggard wife
Said, "No thanks, keep them both", thought "My money was well spent"

Peace and Love,
Larry xxx
