THE LONE BALE

THE LONE BALE

There is always someone out there
                                     Alone and apart,
This one is in constant wonder
And this itself is an art.

His soul is wild but his mind is contented,
He choses to be that far
Even if he is nor comprehended,

In the knowledge of himself he will stay
                                     if allowed,
He knows he has no reason
                                     to roll towards the crowd.

Who Discarded the Red Rose?

A contemplation of my early poem Who Crushed the Yellow Rose

Who Discarded the Red Rose?

Who discarded her heart
and defoliated like a flower
after the storm has gone and passed?...
