THE LONELY JESTER

THE LONELY JESTER

With all their smiles and laughter, these people do not care. I play their little games, but frown beneath my hair. I come to them with gags, and jokes that i must say. But when i leave their presences, in bed alone i lay. All these laughing faces, these people are so fake. They find it all so funny, my dignity they take. I hope the day will come, when my heart shall feel a beat. But how can someone love, a jester from the street.
