The lonely little lighthouseđź’™

Oh that beaming lonely, little lighthouse used to mean the world to me

When I was just a little girl of two years old or maybes three

My Daddy had a fishing boat and he used to sail the sea

Catching fishes for our dishes when my Mammy made our tea

And I can still see my Daddy in his waterproof raincoat

He was the captain with the steering wheel in his wooden fishing boat

And still today, I  see those images of him, when my delightful dreams kept my memories afloat

So as I kneel I pray that the good Lord above..can keep that little lighthouse shining, for all of those seafarers that are sailing, amidst all those oceanic poems that I have wrote...
