The Man Who Hunts The Stars Part 2

The Man Who Hunts The Stars Part 2

Morning glories come out to play so that the sun may kiss their naked petals

Refreshing mist opens our senses so that we may speak in riddles

And as we burn daylight, our day dreamer awaits the night

When the sun sets and displays it's orange disguise, the energy feels just right

Our silhouette who dares us to explore our inner desires hasn't been seen in a while

Tonight's the night, you convince yourself with such an authentic smile

Waiting for far too long, your subconscious drifts into the land of promised dreams

Leaving all your doubts at the door, realizing somethings aren't what they seem

Your heart thumps and you jolt out of your own imagination as something has awakened you

Alas it's what you've been longing for, she is here, the silhouette that brings us hope, something new

She reaches her arm out to you and you reach back, laying your trust in her, your weightless body begins to float

Nervous and afraid you anxiously clear the frog in your throat

Bouncing from star to star you wonder where you'll end up next

And when you find the man who hunts the stars, is staring right at you, you awaken your fear and regret

Realizing the danger and penalties you have met

Fear his bow and arrow, for his aim is remarkably  precise

You wandered to far, our silhouette surpassed  her boundaries, and now one of you must pay the price

"Follow me" she insists as she kisses your soul with her ice cold breath

What choice do you have left? Stay and you'll meet your inevitable death

He follows her beyond the atmosphere, passing the moon and the milky way

They land on a cloud of breath taking colors, we are safe here, but you can never go back, you wanted to wander, here you must stay

The man who hunts the stars will find us if we go, here we are a ghost, invisible

Accept  your fate, you made it on your own. This is where home is now, so garnish your inquiries and make yourself comfortable

And I'm not trying to present the hunter as a villain so much, more as a person who's job is to keep order and balance, in a villainous way, if that makes any sense lol

Also the two characters aren't really heros, just two souls who dared to break the rules
