Poem -

the masterpiece

I sit here so dumbfounded.
Aghast at what I have done,
So silly to think it would remain,
The words I had typed on the screen.
To me a  work of art so fine.
I could not create another line.
So proud of said feat,
That I forgot to save.
As I rushed to find a scene.
As I found this and that...
Mused long and hard for sure.
It had to be just so.
Then I get a chiling fear.
It ran and up down my spine.
I had NOT saved said piece.
This fine masterpiece.
It had  vanished in thin air.
My soul did weep
My body tense.
No one to declare war on.
Save me.
