THE MIDDLE

THE MIDDLE

A faceless cliff littered green...
dearth of earth yet no matter.
Life endures.

Life outdoors...life without doors, without limits.
Under dark skies and on battered shores,
within an organic heart beats its tune.
Its rhythm a promise inherited by the bold.

For the meek must give way to change,
and to guided transformation.
Their demise but a muted mutation...
in an evolutionary symphony.

For an end to all is a beginning to all still.
And our fall but the answer to a riddle:
From big bang to immortality,
life's lease hath only the middle.
