THE MIGHTY ROAR

THE MIGHTY ROAR

THE RAIN THAT FLOODED THE EARTH
SILENCED SINS HOORAY,
ITS NOISE IN HEAVEN HEARD
UNTIL ITS 40TH DAY.

THUNDER SHAKES THE EARTH
WITH ITS SOUND OF FRIGHTFUL WIND,
AND THE HOOFS OF TEN THOUSAND HORSES
IS A NOISE TO BE RECOND WITH.

AN ARENA OF CHEERING FANS
CAN BE HEARD FROM MILES AWAY,
BUT NOTHING CAN BE COMPARED
TO GOD’S PEOPLES ROAR OF PRAISE,
ON THAT GLORIOUS DAY.

WILFORD BARKER.
