The Minotaur

The Minotaur:

too often we hide ourselves from the terrors of being discovered. Of being seen. We see glarings beasts eyes in our nightmares lies and run deep into our hiding
running in fear of having any meaning
we flee the demons we might release if we were to speak of them

When your words mean more than a tongues undulation

It comes

It chases

Nostrils flaring Trying to find what they're for
The Heads
The Words
The Tongues like a labyrinth
when you are become myth
The great quake in your throat aches out

Am

The Minotaur

The great fear between me and being understood
Lingering in deep caverns
Lingering In haunted woods

Am

The jabberwocky

Coming out this gob with thick tongues and Freudian slips
Mistakes that  make me miss my every opportunity to earn an embrace
Or a kiss
from my muse

My article

My Poseidon
My lord of seas and what's inside of them

I

Am

The kraken

And when you release me, the monster of the depths upon the masses
Grasping tentacles giving whipcrack passes at being loved or enslaved
Everything you gave may or may not be rewarded
when monsters abound
Something simple as a wart could be seen somewhat darker
yet I must
Stir the cauldron

Witches are caught and witches are burned
Yet i stir
like a dragon from my slumber
let fear dance like spiders feet to a ballad written upon the heartstrings beat
A ballet
That preys upon my very insecurities
A monster
Who is built upon every impurity
A carnival of the skeletons in
my closet
Let

Them

loose

let cry your dogs of war upon my every and very security
My stability
Let my jaw snap with slavering tongues and dripping teeth
I must Be the hounds at bey
And find my wanderer
Become the wolf
Find the little girl in the red coat
Drink deep of the moat
Til no river stands between meandwhat it means to have meaning

In darkest night

When you mutter only to you

Find your darkest self
And dive darker until when you ask yourself
Who am I
You answer

Am

The Demon

I

Am

The monster under my bed

never anything but the result of my own light
A shadow has no might without bright
And monsters are just tales
I can't help but grab hold of its tail as it runs
find why it rages
As I'm Dragged along the floors and stages
find
What made it be
Because i made it
I must
Find it

And cage it
