The moment

Here i revisit 
Someday long lost 
A root so deep 
Tears flooded the eye
A Place once with a purpose 
Now deserted
The sweet smell lingering in the air 
Brought back something long gone
I searched but in vain
It had now presence that was unknown to me 
That sweetness mislaid
And as i look around i see those hidden smiles worn for me
The only thing that still remained mine
The walls that I once caressed 
The wind to whose music I swayed along with the trees 
The floor that once bore the burden of my feet that danced to first rainfall 
For one last time I returned the smile 
And bade them farewell with an ache in my heart 
I now part with you in peace sweet reminiscence...
