The Month That Lasted A Year

Our precious Angel Cody, for one month we’ve shed never ending tears;
Each day without you has been agony, it’s felt more like it’s been a year!
For time goes by so slowly now, each minute brings brutal pain;
As our hearts and souls mourn endlessly, our eyes pour monsoons’ rain!

Like Nico, you left so quickly, no time for us prepare;
One day you sat beside us, the next one you weren’t there!
You were the center of our Universe, you kept our lives so whole;
Without you our hearts are broken, just like our shattered souls!

We know not what holds the future, if we will ever heal;
For never have we suffered, such a horrible ordeal!
We’ll love you till the Twelfth Of Never, we’ll send our love to you each day;
In Heaven now next to Nico, there you both shall play!
