The Most Beautiful Place I Have Ever Been

“The Most Beautiful Place I Have Ever Been”, should be a city by the sea;
With golden beaches and aqua waters, that beckon out to me!
But there is one place that surpasses them, it brought epitome’s enchantment to my Soul;
I was not prepared for what I found there, each time magnificence would unfold!

It was early July 1994, Utah was our next stop;
We started with a picnic in Zion Park, then climbed to a hillside top!
We waded across the Virgin River, then returned to where we parked;
Surrounded by majestic mountains, regal and softly stark!
.
We headed to well-known Bryce Canyon, to spend two nights at their fine Inn;
It was a sixty mile drive through mountains, the most amazing scenery to begin!
We stopped every ten minutes, to photograph the glorious sights;
Each shot was like a postcard, enhanced with perfect light!

We arrived late afternoon, then for a fine dinner did we head;
The cuisine was to perfection, but the best still lay ahead!
We listened to some soft music, the twilight turned to dark;
We went outside to stargaze, toward the sky our eyes embarked!

We saw millions of Heavenly bodies, more stars than we’d ever seen;
Like a movie set from Hollywood, but these were genuine!
We marveled at the beauty, being bestowed upon our eyes;
That I’ve named this my most beautiful place ever, should come as no surprise!
